Jean-Marc LE PEUVEDIC
Jean-Marc Le Peuvedic obtained an engineering degree from CentraleSupelec in 1993. He joined Dassault Aviation in 1997, working on Mirage, Rafale and Neuron programmes. In 2004, He was the deputy manager of the avionics work package of the Neuron UCAV demonstrator. Later he helped shape parts of the international Clean Sky research programme and has been the technical manager of the Eco Design for Systems part from 2008 to 2016. Between 2011 and 2018, he was Chairman of the Paris region aerospace cluster Astech “on-board energy systems” R&D sector.
He is the founder of two startup companies: ecocity, a car sharing business, and CalCool.ai, which builds petaflop scale servers optimised for artificial intelligence workloads with European suppliers.
His current research interests include electric aircraft, electrical networks dedicated to propulsion, network control and stability, high speed alternators and motors, large Li-ion batteries, data analysis and modelling. Within Clean Sky 2, he represented Dassault Aviation as Topic Manager of the project LiBAT.
